Bemboka has made significant progress towards achieving & exceeding sustainability objectives. Bemboka products are only manufactured in New Zealand, Portugal, Turkey and Italy, to ensure completion of their sustainable manufacturing process.

The Bemboka team do not use any harsh chemicals, have low energy use, high labour standards, and employ proper waste recycling. They work closely with raw material suppliers to ensure that all materials used are sourced sustainably to their high standard.

This sustainability extends to the packaging. Bemboka ensures the recyclability of packaging and are moving towards using EcoPure organic additive that causes plastic to biodegrade through a series of chemical and biological processes in a landfill disposal environment. Further, Bemboka is a supporter of Animal Welfare organisations and ensures that there is no animal cruelty within its supply chain.

Bemboka towels are manufactured using organic dyes and they are certified under the highest level of OEKO-TEX^® product class 1 standard which makes them suitable for babies and toddlers.

In an article released by CO2 Australia, the importance of employing sustainable practices in business is highlighted;
